How to fix: MP3 play too fast or too slow in Podpress
There are a couple of solutions:
- Download the latest version of Adobe flash player at http://www.adobe.com
- Change your sample rate. This only works if you are the creator of the mp3. It appears you get this chipmunk (too fast) sound when the the sound file was converted to mp3 using a sample rate that is not 11,025Hz, 22,050Hz or 44,100Hz. Andy White does a good job explaining this and how this works in Audacity as well. He calls it the "Chipmunk Effect" which is definitely appropriate!
