Repair Windows Registry
A Free Registry Scan Is Just A Plus…
Windows registry is simply a constantly expanding database used in every MS Windows system which keeps all the settings, options, preferences, and hardware options of the user. It continues to grow each time you use Windows. Each time your computer starts up, Windows always reviews the registry to let every installed program know the settings, documents, program paths, and a lot more stuff. The registry gradually accumulates clutter this way, and this eventually leads to a deterioration in your computer’s performance.
Every time you put a new program on your computer and then uninstall a program, remnants of it will be left in the Windows registry record also.
Here’s the issue — After you’ve instituted changes to the registry, it can’t be undone without specialized programs (or manual editing).
Doing a manual edit of the registry could be a disaster and is NOT a job a novice should try. Rule of thumb: the best registry is still an unmolested registry.
Ever since Win 95, most if not all software applications will intentionally leave behind entries in Windows registry to preserve licensing information, that aren’t deleted when the program is uninstalled. This registry junk continues to gather until a registry cleaner application is used to get rid of it.
Another thing to keep in mind, a good number of computer crashes will further corrupt the registry.
What to look for in an excellent registry cleaner
Registry cleaning software are supposed to check the registry, locate, and delete the unnecessary entries in there. But that is the ideal scenario. The reality is, there IS no perfect registry cleaner. All registry cleaners have algorithms which assist them “identify†what is a vital key and which is junk. There is no method of forseeing if removing a registry entry will impact computer performance in subtle ways. So, a good registry cleaner needs to let you to backup your registry before you begin cleaning the registry.
Here’s the safe way of backing-up your registry very simply:

Deep scanning registry cleaners
Light scan registry cleaners
Balanced scanning registry cleaners
Scam registry cleaners
A deep cleaner is actually dangerous to your system because it might delete some important registry keys by being overzealous. A light scanning program, is of little use also; it merely skims the surface. A fake registry cleaner is dangerous, since it is malware cloaked as a registry cleaner. Do not download something just because it’s free!
The “best†registry cleaner is one that:
